Open Water Diver
How Long?
Each course is six weeks long and consists of six lectures
at Thunder Country Diving and six pool sessions at the
Lakehead University Field house. Open water dives can be
completed in the spring or in a Southern location by
referral. Evening classes run from 6 until about 10:30.
How Much?
Each course costs $346.69 per student. This includes all
course fees, textbook, logbook, equipment use (excluding
mask, snorkel, boots and fins), and a bumper sticker.
What is Needed?
Each student is required to own a mask, snorkel, fins and
boot set that are suitable for diving. Quality sets can be
purchased at the store for a reasonable price and student
packages are available.
Under the guidance of a professional SSI Instructor, you'll
develop the knowledge and skills necessary to enjoy a
lifetime of underwater exploration.
